The latest fan-made VR game Seeker VR gives you a chance to play quidditch, cast spells with your magic wand, and navigate the magical playing grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Explore
In this exciting game, you can ride on your own Nimbus 2000 flying broomstick, have your wand, and have a chance to join the Hogwarts Quidditch team of your choice. The game features more than a kilometer of Hogwarts grounds to explore, including Hagrid’s Shack, Hogwarts Castle, Black Lake, and the tempting Forbidden Forest. You can use the touch controllers to ride the Nimbus 2000 and chase the golden Snitch, evade rogue Bludgers, and throw Quaffles seamlessly across the said locations at a speed of up to 100 mph. The exciting VR game is developed by Team Eldritch, a one-man developer team from the Potterhead Universe. They have achieved a sensational recreation of the fascinating Hogwarts campus after the original movies, including all its phenomenal sites and structures. The result is oddly satisfying, taking you across the vast expansion of the witchcraft and wizardry school and all its adjacent spots that have served important roles in the stories.

Other than the perfect Quidditch simulation, the game also includes built-in flying lessons for beginners, helping you learn the tricks to fly through the colossal archways, meandering through the castle towers, and skimming through the water of the Black Lake.

The developer said that the design is perfect, for it gives you a feel of flying a magical broomstick and achieving all these tricky twists and turns all by yourself. The highlight of the game is its incredible speed. This is what will make the users associate themselves with the movie scenes as if they are actually in them. You can fly at a speed of up to 100 mph, and even pull off a 720-degree turn with nothing restricting your movements. The VR simulation is still in its early stages. However, the developer is confident that with time, the hardware will get better to give the users more freedom in game control.

To avoid any copyright issues from Warner Bros., the game is made available completely free of cost. You can access Seeker VR on itch.co. The developer said that the perfect environment to enjoy the Quidditch VR simulation in Oculus Quest 2.
